This sanitation kit is for your CPAP mask, tubing and water chamber tub. Sleep8™ uses water-less activated oxygen (ozone) to kill more than 99% of germs. The ozone even sanitizes areas where UV light can’t reach. The same sanitizing technology is used in water sanitation, hospitals, food industries, and skincare companies.
Just press start and Sleep8™ will do the rest. Once your CPAP is fully sanitized, it automatically turns off. The sanitation process takes less than an hour. This device is compatible with any CPAP or BiPAP device, as well as any tubing including heated tubing.
The SoClean™ is not travel-sized, but a travel size is available, the SoClean™ 2 Go. The full-size version requires a plug, whereas the travel version runs off AA batteries. The device can clean your entire CPAP system at once, including the headgear for your mask! The unit connects with all types of PAP equipment. Adapters are sold for CPAP, Bi-PAP, BPAP, and VPAP machines. The device is very low-maintenance, only requiring you to replace the filter and check-valve assembly every 6 months.
The SoClean™ pumps the ozone through the entire system, and within a couple of hours your CPAP system is clean. A great feature is being able to “set” the device to begin the cleaning process every day at the same time. Therefore, if you want your mask freshly sanitized before use, you program the system to begin around 3 hours before your normal bedtime.
The two devices above are top of the line for keeping your CPAP supplies sanitized, and in great working order. It appears ozone cleaning is still the way to go. One, you are not forced to waste time piling your supplies into a sink full of soapy water and start scrubbing! Two, the process is more efficient than soap and water anyway.
The Price of the Sleep8™ is significantly lower than the SoClean™. However, both products are more than worthy of their costs for the comfort in knowing that your CPAP equipment is sanitized and safe to use.
