A Home Sleep Test, or HST, is an effective and convenient way to get tested for OSA. Obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) is a serious medical condition and, therefore, should not be taken lightly!
Here is the process!
The HST Process is Simple:
Order the HST kit from the 1800CPAP website.
We’ll ship the ApneaLink™ Plus device to you overnight, as well as a medical history form.
Follow the instructions included with the kit, and sleep with the device.
Ship the kit back to us using the prepaid label provided.
A board-certified Sleep Physician examines your results.
You will receive the results of your test once the Physician determines whether or not you have OSA. (A prescription will be provided as well if the test is positive for OSA)
Home sleep tests are great for those of you that would rather not spend a few nights at a sleep lab! Thanks to many technological advances to the HST diagnostics, you can get tested in the comfort of your own home.
Get Started
We provide sleep apnea questionnaires on our website that will help you confirm your suspicions that you may have OSA.
Berlin Questionnaire
Epworth Sleepiness Scale
You will need to complete an Adobe Echosign document prior to us sending you the device. (The customer service technician emails the document to you)
Warning: Some people may not qualify to take a home sleep test! If you, or a family member has one or more of the following medical issues, an HST is not recommended.
Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD)
Congestive Heart Failure (CHF)
Any other cardiac related disease
Neuromuscular or neurodegenerative diseases
